Getting inspired

Morning walks at Lemoine Point have stated to inspire some new pieces. The New line is called "Sticks and Stones.  Random found organic objects are being incorporated to wearable art.  The first was a pair of earrings using a piece of drift wood found along the shore in a pair of earrings.  The next is a necklace with a pebble one saw and picked up the detail in it caught the eye for some reason and I have kept it in the studio.  Well this became the next piece and was incorporated with some of the drift wood too.  I don't go out looking for object it's really quite random to bend down and pick a piece up.  The robins...

Little setback this week but things are coming along ... Gold wedding bands - Josh’s ring red gold inlay and carving done ready for limestone inlay, pulled remaining red gold wire a little bit thinner for Heather‘s ring, just beginning to carve her’s and add the red gold inlay, an order for splash limestone inlay earrings just needs it’s limestone, bracelets coming along nicely finished a limestone and pearl bracelet and working on another custom diamond two-tone gold ring hammer...saw... file... drill...

Transformation and renewal

Created for a dear friend:  Her mother ended up to be one of my mothers neighbours in Providence.  Her mother passed, and with her remaining treasures her amazing daughter decided to spread some joy and love. This was made for her amazing daughter Sabrina who is getting married this year.  Her wedding band is made from her grandmothers wedding band and anniversary ring.  Combining the two rings and three diamonds to create the band Sabrina loved " Organically you ~ Leaf and vine".    This was her mothers engagement ring, two side stones and some limestone inlay.
